We are looking at holding a Country Fair in aid of CancerCare on the 25th & 26th June 2011 at Brookhouse, Caton and keen for locals to get involved. The aim of the fair is to raise awareness of CancerCare, demonstrate what fantastic things the local community have to offer and in turn raise much needed funds for CancerCare.
I am just in the initial planning phase and wondering if you would be interested in taking part? It would fantastic if you could join us. The fair is in its first year so we are looking at establishing contacts and building up a network of friends to help support the fair.
There will be a comprehensive range of activities to keep visitors happy, from sheep dog trails to duck herding, from birds of prey to archery. In addition to numerous and varied stalls, trade stands and catering facilities. You can hold a trade stand or stall at the Country Fair in our craft and food marquees, alternatively in open ground.
I was wondering if anyone from the Lancaster knitting club would be interested in getting involved?
